There is a program called Lifeline where you can get huge discounts on your phone bill.
I signed up for my grandfather and he is now paying less than $10.00 a month.
You can print the form on-line or call for assistance (1-800-974-6006). The customer service is fantastic and will work with you to get you the best deal possible.
I believe this is for Medicaid customers only but not sure.
The Only Way Your Going to get a phone with verizon if your Dissabled,is if you have eight hundred dollars,That's $800.oo in Cash up-front.And if you ask them about any kind of dissabeled discounnt,they will say,and i quote exactly"well I'm Not Sure About That? there's nothing on here,i don't know ill have to see?"Blah Blah.Then The Person on The Other Line Get This!My Phone Was being Paid For by my Mother & in Her Name She Said We Can Keep it in Her Name But She Just Passed Away.So Right There Verizon Is Putting My Phone in A Dead Person's Name But i pay the Bill This Is How You Can Get a Phone With Verizon.Just Get The Social Security Number Of Some One Who Has Good Credit Or Any Credit Put It In the Dead Persons Name Bam,Your in with Verizon Is That Leagle?
