Saying thanks to teachers and special ed assistants

As the school year winds down, it's time to think about saying thanks to the folks who make it all possible.

Teachers that deal with special needs deserve a huge debt of gratitude. They're often put in situations that require great patience and understanding, and yet all too often don't have the resources or training they need.

But.... they manage. Somehow they figure it out, putting the needs of the students first, and very often going many extra miles to try to give students what they need.

It never hurts to say thanks and acknowledge the important role they play.
