The Fishing license is for the rest of your life. But you must fill out a for from the NC Wildlife Resources commission. Here is the link to free pdf for for printing. http://www.ncwildlife.org/Portals/0/License/Documents/TotallyDisabledApplication.pdf

You must supply proof of disability which is available from the Social Security Administration. Just ask them for proof and tell them what you are applying for , Fishing License. You also must choose an Inland or coastal fishing license or both. Each is only $10 which is a bargain for a lifetime license. Also you may apply for a Lifetime hunting license but must attend a hunter safety coarse and have a certificate to prove you have passed the coarse.
