Live Theatres in New York City

There an excellent Theater Access Program for people with disabilities or other special needs.

Thinking of travelling to New York? The city famous for its live theatre has a great program that offers discounted theatre seats to people with disabilities or other special needs.

Also impressive is that these New York theatres have gone the extra mile to consider a number of factors, such as seat location (room to move), and also entire performances that are sign languaged or open captioned. For more information on supporting people with disabilities, look into the New York Theater Access Project. Remember though that in order to take advantage of this offer, you need to apply first.
