Absolutely. The trick though is knowing what type of therapy is best suited for a particular type of cerebral palsy. And, of course, not all types of therapy are equal. Some work better than others, and you always run the risk that it may not 'work' at all, depending on the type of therapy and individual circumstances.
If you, or someone in your family has cerebral palsy, I'll bet that you want to know about what types of CP therapy are out there.
Now, let me be clear. I'm not a doctor, and I don't pretend to be one. So this page is not about giving you advice or direction about what to do. You have to do that yourself with the help of your own medical team.
However, I do think that there is a need for people to share their experiences, and for people offering different types of therapy to explain what it's all about.
So, take what's here in the spirit of informed conversation, and please do add your own experiences too. What cerebral therapy have you tried? What worked for you, what didn't? What did you learn from your experiences? What would you do again or avoid, and why?
Tell us about your experiences with cerebral palsy therapy.
