Autistic features?

by prabhat prasad
(Bangalore, Karnataka, India)

My 3.4 year son is detected as a hyper active kid and till now he is not able to speak properly. Still he is only saying, tata, papa, mummy, car, etc.

If we say any word to him, he is not able to repeat. Only some time he repeats. He is always running here and there without any issue.

He can remember any place if he has visited long back. He can follow some instruction but most of the time he try to ignore it or he not able to understand what i said.

I approached a speech therapist, and she said he has some autistic features so we have to take care about it.

Please guide us what I have to do.

If you need more information please mail us.

Autism labels, how ridiculous NEW
by: Anonymous

He sounds like a normal, healthy 3.5 year old and you sound like a normal frustrated single parent.

Forget labels. The speech therapist sounds like they can't help you child and can't tell you because you will stop going to them.

Talk to your family doctor.
